1In a small bowl, mix the garlic, maple syrup, soy sauce, salt and pepper.

2Place salmon in a shallow glass baking dish and coat with maple syrup mixture.

3Cover the dish and let it marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

4Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

5After 30 minutes of marinating, bake salmon uncovered for 20 minutes or until easily flaked with a fork.

1 cup maple syrup

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 clove garlic, minced

Hi Hank – So glad you enjoyed it and we always like when you put your own spin on it — We find that if you put seafood/fish on a pizza or in Mac N Cheese it is a great way to introduce kids “gently” — Is salmon your favorite fish ?

Tried it. Didn’t have a full cup of maple syrup. Still came out great. Just poured the marinade on top before I put it in the oven. Unfortunately the kids don’t know good food. If it looks remotely healthy they have a 6th sense that alerts them to that and they steer clear.
